Do I need to bring my own materials? Can I use my own supplies, and will it affect the course fee?
All necessary materials are provided, including high-quality paper, pigments, and brushes. Using uniform materials ensures consistent results across the group, which is vital for effective learning. We encourage you to use the provided materials during class for the best experience. While personal supplies are welcome for at-home practice, using them in class might affect your results. Unfortunately, we don’t offer discounts for bringing personal materials.
What happens if I miss a lesson?
We understand that life happens! If you miss a class, you can make it up by attending another course session or a 3-hour workshop (excluding guest artist workshops). If you anticipate missing multiple sessions, we recommend considering individual lessons instead of the full course to better fit your schedule.
Are these courses suitable for children? What is the minimum age, and are there discounts for younger participants?
Our courses are tailored for adults, but teenagers aged 12 and up are welcome to join with parental consent. The child should feel comfortable participating in an adult group and understand English. There are no specific discounts for younger participants, but we’re happy to discuss if the course would be a good fit for your child.
I’ve never painted with watercolors before. Is this course suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! Our beginner-friendly courses are designed for those with little or no experience in watercolor painting. The lessons start with simple topics and gradually build up in complexity, ensuring that all participants can follow along comfortably. Each session includes:

• Guided exercises to help you grasp the techniques.
• Step-by-step demonstrations, with participants following along.
• Personalized assistance and feedback to ensure everyone progresses at their own pace.
What should I wear to the class?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit of paint on. While watercolor is generally easy to wash off, it’s always a good idea to be prepared for minor spills or splashes.
Can I take photos or record videos during the class?
You’re welcome to take photos of your own work and progress throughout the class. However, we kindly ask that you refrain from recording videos or taking photos of the instructor’s demonstrations out of respect for their intellectual property.
Is parking available near the studio?
Yes, there is parking available near the studio. However, spaces can be limited, so we recommend arriving early or using public transportation if possible. Details about the nearest parking facilities will be provided upon registration.
